Where a prescription-only weight-management treatment may be appropriate, it only ever proceeds after a full consultation, suitability screening and approval from an independent prescriber, alongside ongoing review and support rather than a quick fix.
Leanne Woods offers confidential weight-management consultations, with independent prescriber oversight and ongoing support, at Hive Aesthetics in Sharlston, welcoming clients from Wakefield, Castleford and across West Yorkshire.
- What to expect
- Your first appointment is an honest conversation about your health history, your goals and whether this is genuinely the right route for you. If a prescription-only treatment is agreed as appropriate, an independent prescriber reviews and approves it, then Leanne talks you through how it is used, agrees a starting plan and books your reviews.
- Who it suits
- Suited to adults who want structured support alongside changes to food, movement and habits, rather than a standalone solution. Weight loss injections are not suitable for everyone, and your medical history and current medicines are reviewed carefully before anything is prescribed.
- Results
- Changes are gradual and different for every person, with the dose increased slowly over the following weeks. Regular reviews track how you are getting on, help you manage any side effects and keep the plan realistic and sustainable.
- Please note
- Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, while trying to conceive, or with certain thyroid, pancreatic or digestive conditions. Your full medical history goes to an independent prescriber, and treatment is declined if it is not the right and safe choice for you.
